Homemade chicken burgers

Homemade chicken burgers (For 4 servings)


About 600g of chicken meat (use your favourite pieces: legs, breast etc...)

Salt and pepper to season

5 cloves of garlic

4 small onions

Oil for frying (shallow frying)

3-4 branches of thyme

4 slices of your favourite burger cheese

2 tablespoons of sugar

4 tablespoons of your favourite mayonnaise

4 tablespoons of your favourite barbecue sauce

4 burger breads (Refer to photo: Step 8)

Step 1 : Remove the skin and bones from your chicken pieces ...

Step 2: Cut your chicken meat as well as your onions and garlic cloves into small pieces.

Step 3: Transfer them altogether to your food grinder

Step 4: Add barbecue sauce, sugar, salt and pepper (to taste) and thyme !

Step 5: Mix until well combined .

Step 6: Make patties of about 150g each !

Step 7: If you have chicken remaining, freeze for later ...

Step 8: Prepare your burger breads by adding barbecue sauce and mayonnaise as shown below.

Step 9: Cook your patties on medium heat until they are halfway done as indicated below, turn them upside down and allow the other side to cook as well ...

Step 10: Transfer your burgers to your breads and top them with your cheese slices and some fresh onions !...

Step 11: Your burgers are ready !

Step 12: Serve with salad and/ or chips as per your preference ! WooHoo !
