Like the advert says it well : "The kitchen is the heart of our home" ! Today I want to share with you an easy and cute way to decorate your kitchen and give it a special touch. I hope that you will enjoy and mostly that you will allow your creativity to explode in full force ...

What you will need:
Some flower pots (plastic/ ceramic - big/ small as per your preference)
Florist foam blocks
Artificial plants as per your choice (Spring onions and lavender were chosen for this tutorial )
Decorative stones
Note 1: The decorative plants for this tutorial were purchased in China Town (Royal Road) Port-Louis in a shop very near Chong & Sons (my apologies I do not know the exact name of that shop ). The Spring Onions were at Rs75 one bouquet of 10 branches. The lavender was at Rs200.
Note 2: The flower pots in ceramic were purchased at Espace Maison in the gardening section at Rs110 each.
Note 3: The florist foam blocks were purchased at Tangs Way Beau-Bassin at Rs25 per block.
Note 4: The decorative stones can be purchased at Chong & Sons and the prices vary between Rs45 - Rs65 the full bag depending on the type of stones.
Do It Yourself (DIY) cute kitchen decoration !
Step 1: Get all your stuff ready !
Step 2: Cut accordingly your florist foam block (as per the size of your flower pot) and insert it inside your flower pot. Cut and insert smaller pieces of the foam on the edges to fill the holes as far as possible.
Step 3: Insert your artificial plants branches (or branch) while ensuring that it forms a circle in the center of your flower pot.
Step 4: Place some decorative rocks around the branches to cover the florist foam blocks as far as possible.
Step 5: Repeat step 2 to step 4 with the other flower pots and plants .
